Product Sales

PMTech has worked with a number of companies to introduce new products to a marketplace and deal with import, export and distribution issues. Some examples include:

We provided the European product launch and set up distribution channels for Spruce Technologies Inc., a developer of MPEG Encoding and DVD authoring tools instrumental in the commercial success of the DVD format. Spruce was later acquired by Apple Computer and their product became DVD Studio Pro, the dominant professional DVD authoring tool.

We provided market entry, initial sales, and set up distribution channels for Quartz Electronics, a UK based manufacturer of Routing and Master Control systems for broadcasters. As the company's market share grew in the US we helped set up Quartz Electronics, Inc. to take over U.S. sales and marketing. QEI continued to be successful and this led to the acquisition of Quartz by Evertz in late 2005.

We did some early sales promotion for Edifis, a UK manufacturer of video storage and processing systems for Post Production companies.
